Splash Into Something New! Waterslides, a resort-style pool, and a multi-level splashpad are waiting.

Most Georgia Campgrounds Close in November. This One Just Adds Hot Cocoa.

There is a specific kind of quiet that settles over most campgrounds around here in November. The gate closes. The pool gets a cover. Somebody rolls the last golf cart into a shed, and everyone agrees to regroup sometime in April.

Jellystone Park™ West Georgia never got that memo.

The park runs year round. Themed weekends every single weekend, straight through December and into the new year. Which means a monthly site here is not a parking spot with a quiet season attached. There is always something happening two rows over.

Is Jellystone Park™ West Georgia Open Year Round?

Yes. Open every month, with themed activity weekends running through December and into the new year.

Monthly reservations are available on full-hookup RV sites, and the cabins stay open and heated all winter. The park sits at 106 King St. in Bremen, Georgia, about 40 miles west of Atlanta on I-20. Call (404) 855-2778 for current monthly rates and availability.

Can Someone Rent an RV Site by the Month in Georgia?

They can here.

Monthly reservations are open on the full-hookup sites, and there is a real range of them, not just one long-stay row tucked behind the bathhouse:

  • 100-foot pull-thrus for the big rigs and anyone towing something behind the something
  • Pull-thru patio sites, 65 to 100 feet, on concrete pads
  • Standard pull-thrus with full hookups
  • Back-in sites built for rigs 25 feet and under

Every one of them comes with 30/50 amp electric, water, and sewer. Tent sites have electric and water too, for the very committed.

One housekeeping note worth knowing up front: monthly reservation deposits are non-refundable. Worth a phone call before locking dates.

The Part for People Who Do Not Own an RV

Here is the thing nobody expects about a long stay at a campground: it does not actually require a camper.

Every cabin here is heated, with its own private bathroom and a full kitchen. Refrigerator, four-burner stove with an oven, microwave. Cookware and dishes are already in the drawers. Linens are already on the beds.

For a weekend, that is convenient. For a month, that is the entire difference between camping and living somewhere.

No walking to a bathhouse at 6 AM in January. No cooking dinner on a hot plate for four weeks. No carload of pots, pans, sheets and towels hauled in from home. Groceries and clothes, and that covers it.

There is also a heated covered wagon with a private bathroom and linens, which sleeps four and looks like something out of 1875 until the heat kicks on.

What Winter Actually Looks Like Here

Georgia winter is not exactly a hardship posting. But the practical stuff still matters when someone is staying for thirty days instead of two.

The bathhouses, laundry, ranger station store, propane station and firewood sales keep the place functioning like a small town. Free WiFi throughout. A dog run for the travel companion who did not get a vote.

And the weekends keep going. Reindeer games in early December. Penguin relay races mid-month. Campfire carols, hot cocoa, and a park strung with lights closer to Christmas. Snowbirds parked here for the season end up with better December plans than most people back home.

One timing note for anyone still chasing warm weather: the pools are open through November 1 and are not heated. After that, the fun moves to fire pits and string lights.

An Easy Base, Not a Remote One

Bremen sits in Haralson County, right off I-20 and about 40 miles west of Atlanta. Close enough that a long stay here still means access to a real city, far enough that it does not feel like one.

Carrollton and the University of West Georgia are a short drive south. Villa Rica and Douglasville are on the way toward Atlanta. Tallapoosa is a few exits west, and the Alabama state line is roughly fifteen minutes past that, which puts the Birmingham corridor within easy reach.

For snowbirds running south, it is a straightforward stop on the I-20 route. For traveling workers, it is a base with hookups, laundry and WiFi instead of a month of hotel rooms. For families within an hour, it is the reason January does not have to be a total loss.

The Fine Print Nobody Reads Until They Need It

  • Check-in is 4:00 PM, checkout is 11:00 AM
  • Two-night minimum on all sites and cabins
  • Monthly reservation deposits are non-refundable
  • Pet-friendly, with a dog run on site

Thirty Days, Give or Take

Some people book a month here because the job moved them to west Georgia and a hotel stopped making sense. Some book because Georgia in January beats wherever they were in January. Some book because the grandkids are two hours away and a cabin with a real kitchen is a better basecamp than a guest room.

Different reasons. Same answer.
