General Guidelines and Policies
We’ve established the following guidelines to help ensure your safety and enjoyment while in our park and the same to our other guests. Those who choose not to observe these guidelines may be asked to leave our park without any form of refund.
Firewood
Firewood is not permitted to be brought into the park. We have wood for sale in the Ranger Station.
Pets
Pets are welcome at Jellystone Park™ West Georgia. Please read the below guidelines as they vary by accommodation type.
Cabins or Lodges
Pets are allowed in some cabins and lodges but are subject to pet-friendly unit availability. A $25 non-refundable cleaning deposit per pet/per stay is required. Two (2) pet limit. Pets may not be left unattended in your unit. If you bring unregistered pets with you or bring pets into non-pet-friendly units, it will result in a $300 cleaning charge.
RV Sites
There is a two (2) pet limit per site. Pets are free for RV sites. We expect that you will clean up after your pet. They may not be left unattended outside of your unit. Fences and pens are not allowed. Pets must be leashed at all times.
Tent Sites
Pets are not allowed on tent sites. If you bring a pet to your tent site, you will be removed from the park, and no refund will be given.
Aggressive Pets
Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at our park. If your dog shows protective and unfriendly behavior to strangers, please make accommodations for your pet to stay at home. If your dog exhibits this behavior during your stay, you will be asked to leave.
Violation of these guidelines is grounds for ejection from the park without a refund.
Parking
Do Not park on the grass! All vehicles must be parked in your site and on the gravel. No parking in empty sites. Additional parking at the Ranger Station if needed.
Speed Limit
The speed limit is 4 ½ mph. Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests. Remember, children are playing!
Strictly Enforced
One-way road directions must be obeyed.
Quiet Time
10 PM – 8 AM
Loud or offensive noises, rowdiness, or ill-mannered conduct will not be tolerated at any time.
Site Occupancy
Only one (1) RV or Tent is allowed per campsite. Campsites (RV and Tent) allow for a maximum of six (6) people per site. Maximum occupancy for Cabins is the maximum number of people they are rated to sleep.
Smoking
We do not allow smoking in any buildings on our property, including Cabins. If you smoke inside our lodging units, Cabins, or rentals, you will be charged a one-time cleaning fee of $100.
Safety After Dark
To ensure all our guests’ safety after dark, please carry a flashlight with you.
Trash and Garbage
Garbage: The dumpster is located near the front entrance. Please put all trash in the dumpster. Placing trash outside the dumpster may result in fines. Household bagged trash only. No dumping of appliances, batteries, hazardous materials (including motor oil), or other large items. Please do NOT leave trash at your campsite when you depart. If we have to clean up large amounts of trash, a $25 fine will be assessed.
Ground Disposal
Ground disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by state law. Waste water from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed of into sewer drains. Do not put grease down the sewer.
Sewer Connections
Sewer connections are required by state law and must have a tight seal by a sewer donut (or sewer ring) or a screw-type connector.
Sorry, These Aren’t Permitted:
- Fireworks
- Firearms – This includes BB guns, Airsoft, and pellet guns.
- Metal Detectors
- Personal golf carts are not allowed.
- Drones – For safety purposes, we do not allow drones to be flown in our park. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Vehicle Repairs (including oil change, etc.) of vehicles and RVs are not permitted in the park. You may check the local listings for businesses that provide these services.
Photo and Videos
Entrance to Jellystone Park™ constitutes permission for the Management of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resorts to photograph and/or video-graph the visitor and all his/her guests while on the premises and to use pictures/videos for lawful purposes without credit or acknowledgment to the visitor.
Your signature, provided at your check-in, gives Jellystone Park™ West Georgia, its assigns, licensees, and legal representatives the irrevocable right to use any picture, portrait, image, video, or photograph in all forms and media and all manners, including composite, for advertising, for publication or any other lawful purposes. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including a written copy, which may be created in connection therewith.
Pool and Water Zone Areas
Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult, 18+ years, at all times. Anyone behaving in an unsafe or destructive manner will be removed from the pool area.
Visitors
Visitors may purchase a Day Use Pass and are required to check in at the office upon arrival. Guests must leave the property by 10 PM.
Bookings
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Cash. Sorry, no checks.
Check-In / Check-Out
RV and Tent Campsites
Check-In: 4:00 PM; Check-Out: 11:00 AM
Lodging
Check-In: 4:00 PM; Check-Out: 11:00 AM.
If you intend to arrive before your check-in time, please notify our office. We will make every effort to have your campsite available. However, we cannot guarantee its availability until check-in. We ask that you honor our check-out time promptly to minimize hardship on our housekeeping staff and the next arriving guests.
Deposit
Reservations are paid in full at the time of booking.
Minimum Reservation
A two (2) night minimum applies to all rental units.
Monthly RV Site Rentals
Monthly RV site rentals are based on availability which fluctuates depending on the time of year. Please call 404-855-2778 to check availability and rates. Background check, RV approval, and advanced deposit are required.
Site Lock Fee
When booking your reservation, we will assign you a cabin based on the cabin type you selected. If you want a specific cabin, and it is available, you can reserve it with a $35 Site Lock fee. This fee is non-refundable.
Refunds
Sorry, no refunds for early departures. At check-in, we honor the period of time you requested for your campsite or lodging unit. Camping is an outdoor experience, and accordingly, we do not offer refunds due to the whims of Mother Nature.
Cancellations
*Reservations may be revised up two times before forfeiting the entire reservation cost.
CAMPSITES
We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel EIGHT (8) or more days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel SEVEN (7) days or less of your arrival date your full deposit is forfeited.
LODGING
We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel FIFTEEN (15) or more days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel FOURTEEN (14) days or less of your arrival date your full deposit is forfeited.
HOLIDAYS
We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel THIRTY (30) or more days before your arrival date. We do not refund holiday deposits on cancellations made TWENTY-NINE (29) days or less of your arrival date. Please make sure you schedule your holiday reservations carefully.
NO SHOWS
Guests failing to contact us to cancel their reservation (within the required time, listed above) will be considered a ‘NO SHOW’. ‘NO SHOWS’ are subject to the same cancellation policies.
MONTHLY RESERVATIONS
No refunds for monthly reservation deposits.
Refusal of Service
The Management reserves the right to refuse service, limit the length of stay and the number of persons or vehicles per site, and/or evict any person or party without refund. Park staff are not allowed to work on guests’ RVs or other personal equipment.
