Guidelines
Guest Guidelines for a Great Stay
At Jellystone Park™ West Georgia, our guests are known for their kindness, courtesy, and spirit of fun. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway or enjoying a full season outdoors, these shared guidelines help us maintain the safe, clean, and family-focused atmosphere we’re proud of.
Wristbands
-
All registered guests must wear their park-provided wristband during their stay.
-
Wristbands help us ensure amenities and attractions remain exclusive to camping guests.
-
Guests without wristbands may be asked to stop by the Ranger Station so we can get them checked in and back to the fun.
Campfire Fun Done Right
-
Campfires are welcome in the designated ring at your site.
-
Please keep flames at a cozy, manageable height—no bonfires or oversized fires.
-
Fire bans may occur during extremely dry conditions.
-
To protect our forest, outside firewood isn’t permitted. Firewood, color-flame packs, and fire starters are available at the Ranger Station.
-
Moving firewood, even short distances, can introduce invasive pests—thank you for helping keep our trees healthy!
Sharing the Outdoors
-
Store food, coolers, and trash securely to help protect wildlife (and your snacks!).
-
Please avoid leaving food, garbage, or pet bowls outside overnight.
-
Staff will pick up bagged trash during open hours; after-hours, please use the dumpster near the park entrance.
Enjoy Responsibly
-
Guests 21+ may enjoy alcoholic beverages at their campsite.
-
When walking through the park, please use a koozie or another non-glass, non-breakable container.
-
Glass is not allowed in or near aquatic areas.
Welcoming Visitors
-
Visitors are welcome and must check in at the Ranger Station upon arrival.
-
Day-use fees may apply based on arrival time and amenities used.
-
All visitors must follow campground guidelines and depart by 10 PM.
-
Visitor wristbands are required while onsite.
Keeping It Clean
-
Please empty gray and black water only at your site’s sewer hookup or the dump station.
-
Sewer connections must be tightly sealed with a sewer donut or threaded connector (state law).
-
Generators are not permitted—our full-hookup sites provide the power you need.
-
Trash must be bagged and placed in the dumpster; leaving trash outside your site may result in a fine.
-
Charcoal should be placed in your site’s fire ring once fully extinguished.
Family First — Always
-
Kids have the best experience when a trusted adult is nearby, especially at the pool, lake, playground, and activities.
-
Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all water attractions.
-
Helmets are required for children biking or scootering around the campground.
-
Please observe all posted speed limits and one-way signage—little campers are everywhere.

Carry a flashlight after dark; it’s both safe and handy (and helps you spot fireflies!).

Pets must be leashed and attended at all times—no solo outdoor time, please.
-
Limit two pets per site unless otherwise approved.
-
Please pick up after your pets promptly.

-
If a pet displays aggressive or protective behavior, we may ask owners to make alternate arrangements for everyone’s safety.
Service Animals
-
Service animals are welcome throughout the park.
-
Only animals trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability qualify as service animals.
-
